The lack of professionalism from the vet tech has been one of the worst; her attitude is most unfriendly and thoughtless. My dog was given his Rabies shot 4 weeks too early. This mistake might be labeled as minor, but I found it obnoxious and upsetting nonetheless.

When we adopted our pup we were told by the animal protection league that he had Demodex (skin mites and red bumps/sores on body). During our initial visit the vet performed a "comprehensive exam" and told us that it was lice, although we specifically mentioned that he needed to be treated for Demodex. The vet did not acknowledge the issue and went on to give us costly medicine that did not treat his sores. I went in a week later and said again, our dog needs to be treated for Demodex. Finally a skin scrape was taken and I was given one week's worth of oral medication. After TWO weeks the vet tech Briana "checked up" on our dog by phone and proceeded to forget to call me back about an appointment.

There should be much more respect and care for your customers and their dogs in need! "Compassion, competence, complete care" does NOT exist at this clinic!

I would highly recommend this vet to all. We know have a cat and I wouldn't think of taking our pets anywhere else.

I think they do a pretty good job and very straight-forward with the costs, which is rare for anyone in the valley. I think I have seen all of the vets there and one of them was focused on trying to upsell me over and over again about teeth when my dig was in and presenting with a severe limp, but other than that they have been pretty good.

Great staff and doctors. Even though there are closer vets I still drive over an hour to take my dogs here.

Castle Peak Veterinary - is a joke. I have experienced multiple issues at this clinic!

Went to this vet on a recommendation from a friend of ours. Our dog was sick and they did a great job running tests but explaining them beforehand so we knew why they were needed and how much they would cost and what we would find out as a result. They were conscientious of containing costs while at the same time trying to resolve the health issues our dog had.

I am appalled by the way Castle Peak runs their business, and after hundreds of dollars spent unproductively, I hope you will read this and make a different choice as well.

*In other news, our pup is now being treated with three different medications at another clinic and the people checked up on him within 24 hours - a much better situation for our puppy!
