Got a beautiful bouquet from them delivered to my work, 48-72 hours later the flowers were already half dead. They never ran out of water, were not kept in direct sunlight or extreme heat, so I thought perhaps I did something wrong or they got "cooked" in the delivery truck. I called to ask if perhaps I did something wrong, and just wanted to provide feedback since I have never had flowers die this quickly on me (even store bought flowers last at least a week!). When I got the flowers it brightened my day and I knew my friend had spent a good amount for the arrangement. The lady I spoke to offered to refresh the bouquet with some new flowers and was very pleasant on the phone, so I stopped in the next day. The lady who helped me barely spoke to me, threw away the dead flowers and only replaced half of them (one stem of lilies and one stem of spray roses, what happened to the unique flowers?). She replaced only two stems of flowers and not the two types I love! When I asked if she could at least replace one of the types, she flat out said no with no explanation. So 4 days after I receive this expensive bouquet I only have half of it. Perhaps I caught them on an off day, because I have seen their bouquets before and they've been gorgeous and actually lasted, just disappointed my friend spent that amount of money to do something nice for me and then all of this happened.
I received a "Colorado Wildflower" bouquet today from Cedars. This is the second time I have been gifted with flowers from their shop and been disappointed. This time I decided to call the store and spoke with Sarah who designed today's arrangement. After telling her that I was not terribly impressed with the arrangement, she hung up on me. I called back to discuss my disappointment further and she hung up a second time. I am not a high needs person, but when someone in your life spends $75 - $100 to send flowers, the arrangement should be to your liking. Not only was the it unattractive, being hung up TWICE is unacceptable. If you are shopping for flowers in Edwards, spend your money at Vintage Magnolias or Petals of Provence. They are expensive but build beautiful arrangements won't hang up on you.
