Been dealing with The Kind for years. Great service selection. Excellent locally owned shop.

Great customer service! Rented ski equipment from Kind and they were very easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

What ticked me off was that I was leaving a happy satisfied customer that had some minor issues he dealt with with the equipment. But as I am walking out the door, he had to make sure to let me know how it was my fault and that his equipment was fine. Now he had not touched the equipment and had no idea the real issue.

Rented ski's from this location. Boots did not me fit well ( not their problem as I have hard feet to fit) the first day, so went to exchange for 2nd day. Everything went well. But second day the boots did not fit into the bindings well and I spent probably 30 minutes of ski time that day trying to get the boots I exchanged into the bindings.

I should have told him that jumping in to blame the satisfied customer was not good business. So his involvement led me to believe if you have a problem, management will not take it seriously but just blame the customer. If he had kept his mouth shut as I was heading out the door happy, I would have rated them higher.

When I went back to turn in the boots, they asked how it went and I told them the problems I had with the boots/bindings. The clerk looked at them and could not find a problem. I told her no problem but she had asked how her equipment worked out and I told her the problem, but was not an unhappy customer. Not everything goes perfect in life and they had tried their best.

When I was heading out the manager/owner piped in that the boots binding were fine and that I needed to get the ice off my boots. Of course I had done that extensively the whole day and the boots/bindings were difficult to get in at the start of the day. He also piped in that it was warmer today than the previous day and that was why it was harder to get the boots into the bindings.

Needed a bike box, and they were more than willing to get me one!
