Has been an Edwards "go-to" place for years; still great sushi. Come on everybody, get behind Sato!!
Excellent sushi and sashimi! Service was great but the noise level was high.
We have been going for years, as we've been coming to the area for 21 years. Sato's is one of our favorites. Great food and atmosphere. But our last couple visits have been disappointing. Our waitress, Annie, was awesome but the food, 4 rolls and sashimi took over an hour to get to our table after placing the order, while numerous other patrons, who sat after we ordered, received and finished their sushi. When we expressed our frustrations with the manager, she was extremely rude and simple said that they were overwhelmed. Something clearly went wrong with the order at the sushi bar so either the manager was inept/lazy and didn't bother to check our situation, or she was simply dishonest. Either way, she was awful and it is hard to imagine that a restaurant like Sato couldn't find a better manager. Our waitress on the other hand ended up contacting the owner of the restaurant independently, who apparently authorized a comp of desserts, which was a nice gesture that the manager should have offered in the first place. Unfortunately, it might be a while, before we try Sato again.
I've been coming to Sato for many years and they never disappoint. Last night they were swamped and yet the service and food was great.
Great atmosphere and an awesome daily Happy Hour. Serving a creative and traditional sushi menu as well as a variety of hot appetizers and entrees.
